How does the internet carry a photo?
What you’ll see
Send a photo, and it doesn't travel whole. It's cut into thousands of small packets, each stamped with an address. Routers pass them from hand to hand, each choosing a path, under oceans through glass cables, at two thirds the speed of light. On the other side, they're put back in order. The internet is a relay race.
