Maths · Cantor’s infinities
Are some infinities bigger than others?
What you’ll see
Count the whole numbers: one, two, three, forever. Georg Cantor asked whether every infinity is the same size. Take any endless list of decimals. Build a new number by changing the first digit of the first, the second digit of the second, and so on down the list. That number is on no list. Some infinities are bigger.
